Every copy of GTA 6 bought before November 20, 2026 comes with the Vintage Vice City Pack, a bundle of in-game items that nods back to 2002’s GTA Vice City. It isn’t tied to the more expensive edition, so you get it whether you choose Standard at $79.99 or Ultimate at $99.99. Here’s what’s in it, the date that matters, and the extra you only get with some pre-orders.

What’s in the pack

The pack is built around a classic car and a look for each protagonist:

A 1955 Vapid Stanier sedan, along with a garage near Ocean Beach to keep it in. The Stanier has been a GTA staple for years, but this is the vintage version, and the garage is a useful extra in its own right since it gives you storage in one of Vice City’s best-known areas.

For Jason, a pastel linen suit with a hairstyle to match, both straight out of the 1980s. For Lucia, a red sequin mini dress and curls. Both looks are a direct callback to the original Vice City’s era.

A tropical weapon pattern you can apply to most guns, inspired by Tommy Vercetti, the protagonist of the original Vice City.

None of it changes how the game plays. It’s cosmetic and a free garage, and it’s best thought of as a thank-you for buying early rather than a reason to buy.

The deadline: before November 20

The terms published with the boxed edition say the pack comes with any purchase made before November 20, 2026, which would include launch day itself. Xbox’s own store listing words it more tightly, as purchases before November 19. Until Rockstar clears that up, the safe move is to buy by November 18 if the pack matters to you. Boxed copies include it too, while stocks of those codes last, according to the details Rockstar published with the physical edition.

If you’re buying from a third-party retailer, check that the listing mentions the Vintage Vice City Pack. Official retailers include it, but grey-market key sellers sometimes sell codes without the bonus, which is one more reason to stick to the big stores. Our guide to where to pre-order covers the safest options.

The free month of GTA+

Pre-orders on both consoles also include one month of GTA+, Rockstar’s $7.99-a-month membership. Two details from the store listings matter. On PlayStation the month auto-renews, so set a reminder to cancel if you don’t want to keep paying, and it has to be claimed by March 31, 2027. On Xbox it’s redeemable within 180 days. Since you choose when to claim it, there’s no rush: GTA+ currently gives GTA Online bonuses and a library of older Rockstar games, and Rockstar hasn’t said what it adds for GTA 6. Our GTA+ explainer covers what’s in it today.

Do you need to pre-order to get it?

No. Pre-ordering gets it to you on day one, but buying on launch day gets you the same pack. The only real reason to pre-order now is to pre-load from November 12 so the game is ready to play the moment it unlocks. If you’re still undecided, our piece on pre-ordering versus waiting for reviews weighs it up.

What about the Ultimate Edition extras?

Ultimate adds a separate set of premium vehicles, weapons, clothing and other content for Jason and Lucia on top of the Vintage Vice City Pack. Rockstar hasn’t published a full item-by-item list, so be wary of any site claiming to have one. Our Standard vs Ultimate explainer has what’s officially confirmed.
