How Much Will GTA 6 Cost Outside the US?

Regional pricing varies by nearly 84% once converted to dollars, from around $58 in South Korea to over $106 in Israel, for the exact same game.

How Much Will GTA 6 Cost Outside the US?

The $79.99 and $99.99 figures that dominate GTA 6 pricing conversations are specifically US numbers, and they don’t automatically translate cleanly to what players in other countries are paying. Regional game pricing has always varied for reasons that go beyond a simple currency conversion, and GTA 6’s rollout has followed that same uneven pattern.

In the UK, the Standard Edition is priced at £69.99, with the Ultimate Edition at £89.99, both figures that, unlike the US price, already include VAT rather than having tax added at checkout. The EU broadly mirrors the US numbers on paper, with €79.99 and €99.99 for Standard and Ultimate respectively, though VAT inclusion again means the real out-the-door cost isn’t a simple like-for-like match with the pre-tax US price. Elsewhere, the spread gets more dramatic: Australia’s pricing lands at A$129.95, Japan comes in at ¥9,800, Brazil at R$449.90, India at ₹5,999, and Canada at CA$109.99, each set independently rather than derived from a single global exchange rate applied uniformly.

That independence is exactly why the regional gap ends up as large as it does. Once every listed price is converted back into a common currency for comparison, the spread runs close to 84% between the cheapest and most expensive regions. That’s reportedly around $58 equivalent in South Korea at the low end and over $106 equivalent in Israel at the high end, for the exact same digital product with no regional content differences. That kind of gap isn’t really about currency fluctuation. It reflects deliberate regional pricing strategy, accounting for local purchasing power, market competition, and typical retail pricing conventions in each country, the same way most global software and streaming services price differently region to region rather than applying one flat exchange rate.

If you’re in a region with notably favorable pricing, there’s an obvious temptation to look into purchasing through a different storefront’s regional pricing than your own. That’s technically possible on some platforms, but it’s often restricted, tied to payment method or billing address verification, and occasionally against a platform’s terms of service depending on how it’s done. It’s worth checking your own platform’s specific policy before assuming a workaround will work smoothly, rather than finding out after a purchase attempt fails or gets flagged.

The simplest takeaway: if you’re outside the US, don’t assume $79.99 or $99.99 applies to you directly. Check your own region’s storefront listing specifically, since Rockstar and its retail partners have set independent pricing almost everywhere rather than a single converted global rate.
