Buying Guide: PC Components for GTA 6
This is the category to be most careful with. GTA 6 has no announced PC release, not a date, not system requirements, nothing official. Rockstar has followed a console-first pattern with every major release this generation, and GTA V took roughly eighteen months to reach PC after its 2013 console debut.
If you're building or upgrading a PC right now specifically for GTA 6, you're guessing at requirements that don't exist yet. What's safe to say: Rockstar's RAGE engine has historically been demanding on both CPU and GPU, and GTA V's PC version needed meaningfully more power than its console counterpart to hit high settings.
The safer approach is buying components that serve the games you play today, with enough headroom that a future GTA 6 port won't immediately feel like it's straining your PC. Chasing a moving target with no confirmed specs is how people overspend.
