GTA 6 Has an Official Album: 34 Tracks, Out November 19

In this article
Music has always been part of what makes a GTA game feel like a place, and GTA 6 is getting the biggest soundtrack push in the series' history. On September 17, Rockstar and Atlantic Records announced Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album, a collection of 34 original tracks recorded for the game, releasing on November 19, the same day as GTA 6.
Who's on it
The line-up spans hip-hop, country, Latin, electronic and rock. Six songs were released straight away:
- Yung Lean featuring Future and Metro Boomin, “That's It”
- Travis Scott, “RHYNO”
- CA7RIEL & Paco Amoroso, PinkPantheress, Fred again.. and Étienne de Crécy, “Sexy Magic”
- Morgan Wallen, “Last Thing You Need”
- Rauw Alejandro, “Macacoa 2000”
- Keith Richards, “Bright Lights, Big City”
Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo, formerly of Daft Punk, is also among the credited artists. The remaining tracks arrive with the full album on launch day, alongside vinyl and CD editions.
How it fits the game
The album is made up of original songs written for GTA 6 rather than licensed hits, which is a change from how past GTA soundtracks were mostly built around existing music. The mix reflects Leonida itself: Miami's Latin music scene, Florida country, club music and hip-hop all sit side by side, the same way the radio stations in past games mapped onto their cities. Trailer 2 already showed the effect a GTA song can have, sending streams of The Pointer Sisters' “Hot Together” soaring overnight.
Rockstar hasn't published the full in-game radio station list yet, so it isn't confirmed which album tracks will play on which stations, or how much licensed music sits alongside them. Expect that detail closer to launch.
How to listen
The six released songs are on the major streaming services now. The full 34-track album lands on November 19. If you want both the game and the album on day one, our launch day checklist covers getting the game ready, and you can add launch day to your calendar.
