GTA 6 Voice Cast: Confirmed or Speculation?

Rockstar hasn't named a single voice actor. Everything you've seen attached to Jason and Lucia's names comes from fan detective work, not the studio.

GTA 6 Voice Cast: Confirmed or Speculation?

If you’ve come across articles confidently naming who voices Jason and Lucia, it’s worth knowing upfront: Rockstar has not announced a single voice or performance-capture actor for any GTA 6 character. Not for the leads, not for any of the named supporting cast. That’s a genuinely different situation from most big-budget games, where casting is usually part of the marketing rollout rather than a secret kept this tightly.

The two names that circulate most are Manni L. Perez for Lucia and Dylan Rourke for Jason, and it’s worth understanding exactly how thin the evidence behind those names is. The Lucia connection is largely based on resemblance and voice similarity noticed by fans comparing footage to Perez’s other public appearances, a reasonable guess, but a guess built on pattern-matching, not a source close to the production.

Rourke’s name circulated similarly, helped along by his existing television credits on shows like Station 19, Grey’s Anatomy, and 9-1-1: Lone Star, which made him a plausible casting choice fans could point to. Both names picked up extra apparent credibility when IMDb listed them against GTA 6’s Extended Look entry, but IMDb is user-editable, doesn’t require sourcing to add a credit, and has been wrong about exactly this kind of speculative casting claim before.

None of this makes the names impossible. Actors involved in major unreleased productions are frequently bound by non-disclosure agreements that prevent them from confirming or denying a role, and it’s entirely plausible fans have correctly identified the real performers through careful observation. But plausible and confirmed are different categories, and treating community detective work as an official cast announcement gets the two mixed up.

Rockstar’s own history backs up why the silence here isn’t unusual. GTA 5’s protagonists weren’t widely known by their voice actors’ names until well after the game had already shipped. Rockstar has consistently treated its cast as something to reveal on its own timeline, often after release rather than before it, rather than using casting news as pre-launch marketing the way most studios do. There’s no indication GTA 6 is breaking that pattern.

The honest way to hold this information: Manni L. Perez and Dylan Rourke are the community’s best current guesses, built on real observational work rather than nothing, but they remain guesses until Rockstar, Take-Two, or the actors themselves say otherwise. We’ll update this the moment that changes, which, based on precedent, may not happen until after November 19.
