Boats, Planes and Helicopters: Vehicle Variety

From single-rider Seasharks to a full cruise ship, and seaplanes to attack choppers, a state wrapped in water and coastline demanded a big air-and-sea roster.

Boats, Planes and Helicopters: Vehicle Variety

A map built around a state as coastal and water-heavy as Leonida was always going to need a serious boat and aircraft lineup to match, and frame-by-frame trailer analysis suggests Rockstar has delivered on that expectation. None of what follows has been officially confirmed by Rockstar in a published list. Everything here comes from players pausing footage and identifying vehicles by their silhouettes and badges, but the pattern across multiple trailers is consistent enough to take seriously.

On the water, the range runs from the smallest personal craft up to genuinely large vessels. Seasharks, the series’ small single-rider watercraft, have been spotted, alongside airboats that fit naturally into the swampy Grassrivers region and hint at missions set there specifically. At the other end of the scale, a Dinka Marquis-style yacht has been identified, and reporting even points to a full cruise ship appearing somewhere in the world, a scale of maritime vehicle the series hasn’t really attempted before, even in a game built around a coastline this extensive.

Air travel looks similarly varied. Light aircraft including a Dodo-style seaplane have turned up in footage, well-suited to a state built around water and short island hops in the Leonida Keys. On the more luxurious end, a Shamal-style private jet has been spotted, continuing the series’ running gag of letting players eventually access genuinely expensive aircraft most people will never fly in real life. A blimp has also reportedly appeared in trailer footage, which would be a fun, mostly cosmetic addition rather than a serious traversal option, but fits the general texture of a living world with things happening in the sky beyond just player-controlled aircraft.

Helicopters round out the confirmed sightings, and here the series has some genuine continuity to lean on. The Sea Sparrow, a small, nimble helicopter with a long history in the franchise, reportedly appears on cover art associated with the game, and the Buzzard Attack Chopper, a fan favorite for its combination of speed and firepower in past entries, has also been identified in footage. Between those two alone, Rockstar looks to be maintaining at least some continuity in its aircraft naming conventions rather than starting entirely from scratch.

Taken together, over 200 vehicles across every category, cars, bikes, boats, planes, helicopters, and even public transport, have reportedly been spotted across trailers and promotional material so far, which is an unusually large confirmed-by-observation count this far ahead of a release. Whether the finished game matches that scale exactly is something only launch will settle, but Leonida’s geography alone makes a serious air-and-sea vehicle roster less of a luxury addition and more of a structural necessity.
