About This Weapon
The standard fragmentation grenade returns for GTA VI, and there’s nothing complicated about it: pull the pin, throw, and clear the area. It’s modeled on the M61, a real military-issue grenade, and it’s built for one job, clearing out anyone bunched together in a small space.
Special Features
Best used against groups, since a single grenade can take out multiple enemies standing close together
Delayed detonation means it can be cooked briefly before the throw, though holding it too long risks blowing yourself up along with the target
Effective against lightly armored vehicles as well as people, unlike most handheld weapons
Fits into the broader thrown weapons category alongside Molotovs and smoke grenades, giving players a non-gun option for crowd control or breaching cover
